We just had chicks and I don't know what to do with this one that she left in the nest the ants were starting to get to it and there's these things all over it they look like little larvas you can see in the picture I need help my name is Tim

Hi Tim. You say they look like larva? Is it possible that they are maggots? If so soak the chick in warm Epson salt water, and then quickly pat dry & completely dry her with a hair dryer on low heat. Keep her warm. Look her over well for injuries. Be sure and clean the nest box well too.

Have you been able to get all of the ants off of it yet? If not, make that your first priority.
Do you have an ant-free place to keep the chick for a while?
Yes all all the answer off this one looks like a late bloomer there were eight other chicks they're just looks like they were yesterday

Completely outdoor close to wild chickens I don't have anything set up for them I just heard this one crying up in the distance I had to cut my way through some blackberry bushes to get to it I don't know what I should do to keep it from Diane or even if I should do that
