She grew up to get chesnut and white mottles all over her back. She was so pretty.
I wish she had trusted other people, she would only let me touch/cuddle her and she would jump onto my lap. The silly girl flew onto the top of the fence and my mum in trying to get her down spooked her onto the over side. So our neighbours dogs got her. It was quick, partially because she's not afraid of dogs, and the dogs were big.

I'd say pullet since my 4 week old D'Uccles Roos already have combs turning red and I was told that between 5-6 weeks it becomes easy to tell gender. Also, D'Uccles take longer than other breeds to come into their permanent feathering. There is a d'uccle thread with many experts, the ones I get my info from, who might be able to help you. There are also many pics if you wanted to just look and compare them to your pretty girl!!
