There are 3 hens all next to each other sitting on eggs. 2 chicks have hatched 1 week apart. I found 1 deceased and the other was in the same position but I discovered it before it expired. I tried to place it back with the hens but they won’t let me.
 
Welcome to BYC! Sorry about your hatching troubles.
For future reference; It is probably best to divide your hens, date and mark the eggs so that they all hatch together, and make sure that other hens can't disturb the eggs and hatching chicks.
I've had success letting hens set and hatch together but I was uninformed at the time. I wouldn't do it now because it is always less likely to work out than separating them.
