Well hello neighbor! I read the first two articles on cresteds and wow never knew. Now is this just with ducks or with chickens too? I have WC Black Polish & I love them. They are sweet calm & super friendly Kung Pow my WC roo is smart as can be.

I see they do occur naturally from time to time in all breeds of ducks except Muscoveys so I think they will appear any way just breeding them for this trait on purpose seems to be a bit cruel after reading some need to have their crest "trimmed" if too fat so you would have to cut the ducks head? I am not for that seems like torture.

Thanks for the info as I would probably bought one or two down the road but will not now just because there is too many rough neck roos on this plot of land & I know one would get hurt.
