You will want to post on your state thread to ask for support and help from others who have been successful. You might stress chickens are quieter than dogs and don't run loose attacking people. They make great pets, and some are even kept as house chickens. It would be good if you could have people bring some of their social and docile chickens to show how well they can get along with children..etc Wish you luck
