Hello Everyone, I live in Perth, Western Australia, I've kept chickens on and off for years but my daughter and I are planning to get into it as a serious hobby. My daughter really loves silkie bantams, and we also have silver laced Wyandottes and Australorps .
We have just bought a cheap incubator and a dozen fertile eggs to go in it, so we are excited to see how that turns out, also looking to breed our and sell our own chooks :)

One had some real perky tail feathers, I was worried it was going to turn out to be a rooster, so that one was called 'Stewie" just in case that is what he ended up as :p But happily they all still seem to be girls :)

I just LOVE Australorps!! They are by far the best breed to keep in your flock. Super hardy, friendly, just an all around great bird to keep!!

Good luck with that hatch, hatching is quite fun and magical.

I love wyandottes, mostly because they are beautiful show breed. I may be new BYC but I love and know a lot about chickens. Your chickens are down right adorable by the way! :bunlike the bunny lol. If you need any help from me just ask! :D
