I have about twenty chickens, four rhode island reds, Seven barred rocks, One perfect rooster named Aroura (Cornish cross). Two of some kind of breed. I have one rainbow layer one leghorn, and two pure white chicks which i hatched and can not identify. I think that taking care of chickens is really wonderful, exspecially if you are incubating and hatching them. (Don't worry, they all have names.) I am a very young farmer, I am writing from AR

Welcome! You will find BYC has lots of very friendly people with lots of advice if you need it. I am not so young at all but am still relatively new to chickens and I learn a lot here every day.
It sounds like you have a wonderful flock (I only have 5 and they keep me run off my feet so I can only imagine what 20 is like!).

I started out with six chickens, three americana hens and their three chicks we also wanted guineas so we bought 15/20 of those. Well that did not go so well, one of the chick died and the other two were roosters. Almost all of the guineas were eaten, or fell ill. One hen Miss Butterworth was eaten, the other lived a lot longer and eventually died by getting eaten or natural causes. Ha, Ha
