Hi everyone, my name is Lee-Anne and I have been lurking this forum since just before getting my ducklings. I am new to raising ducklings, and will also be adding some chicks to my flock as well so I wanted to join the community as its been one of my biggest go-to's for research.

I currently have 4 ducklings named Duckzilla, Duckie, Flip & Flop and they turn 3 weeks today! In a few weeks once I have their coop/run set up & they start feathering they will go outside, however if the niacin doesn't start to improve Duckie's legs she may get to be the lucky house duck.

I look forward to meeting & learning from you all!

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Hi and welcome to BYC - you have some great advice and links already so I'll just say hello!

All the best

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome & the helpful links! I'll be checking them out for sure!

Drumstick Diva, thank you for the warm thoughts! I have been providing them with a vitamin supplement that contains niacin, I'll need to wait on shipping for actually brewer's yeast as I cannot find any where I live (it is especially frustrating living in a big agricultural area).
