Hello. I need everyones opinion on the breed of rooster I should get..

Hmmm......Salmon Faverolles (sp?) are a medium sized bird aren't they? They would sure qualify as an unbelievably pretty rooster!

Ok so far what im thinking is a hamburg
there pretty nice loooking

i already plan on getting silkies
brahmas arent exactually my favorite
i already plan on getting another cochin rooster
i have an EE roo already
and i think that a specked sussex is just a little bit too big

keep the ideas comming though please

oh! and yea a favorelle wouldnt be too bad
maybe...

I would have also seconded the Speckled Sussex suggestion, but you say they are too big. So if around hamberg size is what you are looking for, then how about some phoenix ??? You should be able to find them in Large Fowl and Bantam sizes

I would have to say, blue wheaten ameraucana..... Hey, I'll be at the show too! Can't wait to see what they have.....I'm not looking to buy, but you know how that goes.....I would like to have a couple of silkie hens to use as broodies next spring.

i had 2 silver phoenix bantams
pair
the hen wouldnt lay so i gave them away
might get me some more of them if they aint to expensive
but yes around the hamburg size is what im looking for
