hello i need help on turning quail eggs

hello I need help on turning quail eggs am I supposed to turn them in a 45 angel standing up or do I just lay them down and just turn them

You can just roll them. Makes it real easy to turn a few dozen all at once.

thank you ladycat its just that its my first time hatching eggs and I don't know much

Set your eggs with the large end tilted up a bit. Eggs need to be turned at least 3 times a day, more if you can. Some of the professional hatcheries turn their eggs once an hour.

An egg is turned about 180 degrees or a bit less, never turned completely around 360 degrees. Imagine the rocking of a ship, back and forth, back and forth. This is what you are going to do. With a pencil, put an X on one side of each egg. Start with the X on the left side of the egg. A few hours later, you are going to turn the egg so the X is on the right side. A few hours later, you will turn the egg back with the X on the left side. And so on.
