So sorry your chick passed away. Sometimes they are born with defects we can't see, and as a result they do not thrive and end up dying.

Welcome to BYC, and sorry for your loss. Were you providing a heat source for the chick ? In the future a balanced feed ration and supplemental heating should be tried. Good luck with your flock.
