(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? yes / one of my inlaws knows a guy that raises chickens, and bought some chicks out of town only 1 out 4 survived though.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 13 total, 4 hens, 1 Rooster, 7-2wk old chicks had 9 originally but lost 2, 1 month old golden lace.
(3) What breeds do you have? 1 Brown Dutch Bantam, 3 Rhode Island Red, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte 1 Radio yellow leg Rooster
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? learning more about them, & egg production
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? playing guitar, my work is somewhat of a hobby as well that is Information Technology.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. married 3 boys, I have a small cat usually keeps distance from chickens but occasionally ties to chase the golden laced chick, I work Information Technology in healthcare, and responsible for the dept there.

I started raising my first 2 hens and rooster in May had already been visiting BYC page for reference then joined eventually.
