I am so happy to be here..This is a wonderful site. Already I have learned so much while lurking. I am in Portland Oregon, we have city chickens 5 Hens to be exact
and eggs in the incubator.
I am in the process of getting a permit to keep more then 3 hens.
I have wanted chickens for about 7 yrs and finally made the plunge this last summer in June as a birthday gift to myself..couldn't be happier, cant believe I waited so long. It has really been a learning experience, and this site is gr8, so informative, I have spent many late nights here reading and gorging my brain. Anyway it's a pleasure to be here, it's so nice to be here with like minded people.

Blue & Splash Silkie Babies/no names yet. The Blue baby looks black, but breeder assured me she was a blue.
Daisy the dog thinks she's a foraging chicken
