Hi I'm a new member to BYC. My husband and I have decided to get chickens within the next year so I joined here to get ideas for coops etc.

Very good idea to start doing your research now before getting your chickens!

That's how I started.

There are LOTS of coop ideas on this site.

You can build a fancy one or just something simple like a wood frame and some hardware wiring.

All the chickens need is protection from the wind/rain and predators.
