Welcome Harold.
I have a black cochin hen named Harold. She lays eggs. she will get broody on a nest with NO eggs... and she has one loooong sound, like she is trying to crow. I think she is a bit confused as to which gender she should be. It's my fault though, for allowing her a manly name! Actually, my friends 7 yr old daughter gave her the name...
