I am supposed to be getting some Delaware Hens. I am fixing up a toolshed for my babies they are a year old and lay huge eggs.

oh you're in for a real treat. You'll be surprised to find out how much personality they have. Just beware. I started out only wanting a couple for fresh eggs once in a while. I now have close to 40 ish lol

You'll find lots and lots of information here! I'm in the "planning and getting ready" phase to get chickens. I'm hoping to get some in the spring. I learned so much from everyone here already, and it's only been a couple of weeks since I joined.
