What type of chicken do you recommend? I have been doing a little research and I cant decide. any ideas?

! That is a tough question. It all depends on what you what your chickens for? Meat? Eggs? Both? Pets? Insect control? Amusement? Narrow it down for us and we'll hit you up with some opinions. Good luck to you!

I'd decide what you want the chickens for, then you can narrow down your breed selection. If you want high egg productivity, you can look at those breeds. If you want something that will be friendly you can eliminate the flightier breeds. Good luck!

 
I am looking for some breeds that aren't very flighty. I live in Washington, so it is rainy most of the year. I was thinking a flock of mixed breeds, and I would like the Amaurcana breed. If any of you know some good sister birds for an Amauricana, please let me know.
