Thoughts....is this barred rock a rooster or a hen? I think it's about 3 months old.

ok, thanks. I think it's a roo too based on the tail feathers, but I'm so new to this I really have no clue!

That's what I was looking at too. Also if it's less than 3 months the red comb is usually a give away but I've heard of some hens start laying young. I also don't have br's so I figured we may need to wait to see what more experienced people say.

That's better odds that I usually get lol. One thing I can say for sure is it's a chicken. Also I'm about sure it's a BR lol.

It's a cockerel, and he looks more like a black sex link than a Rock.
