Hello. I have a bit of a zoo 14 dogs, plus 4 foster dogs, a tolerant cat, hamster, guinea pig, 2 goats, and Silkie Chickens/Roos and Cayuga ducks.
Right now there are 6 hens, 3 Roos, and five chicks for the Silkies
And 3 Cayuga hens and Dickie the drake. All 3 hens made nest and laid eggs but I thought they were never go broody and sit on them so I planted 3 eggs of the ducks under a broody Silkie hen. And of course and 10 days after that one duck actually started sitting on her nest. Right now I have 9 ducklings, with 2 more nest waiting to see what hatches.
