Hello, I'm new here

I'm new here because I'm new to raising chickens. I am building my coop now. My flock will be two Rockbars, an Easter Egger and and a Welsemmer. I am doing this for fun as well as a few eggs. I have raised all manners of other animals including horses, dog, wolves as well as small birds but not chickens. I have a lot to learn. I am a retired engineer from the aerospace industry and love to do woodworking in my spare time as well as Revolutionary War reenactment.
