Hi everyone! Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself. I've been lurking for the last few years, but finally decided it was time to officially join the community 
I'm an expecting first-time chick mama in the California Bay Area. Due in just a few weeks! Our four birds are coming from a local farm an hour north of us, and will be a mix of blue and sage eggers, and a German Bielefelder.
We will be raising our hens for eggs. We are building a small urban homestead, and these fluffy gals will be an important part of that.
Currently in the obsessive phase of worrying about whether we are fully prepared, and gathering all of the last minute supplies we need for the babies' arrival. Going down LOADS of rabbit holes in these forums.
