My name is Laura and I live in Colorado. We've had chickens for about a year -- they came with the house we bought, and we are excited to have them. The chickens that came with the house are a rooster (Barred Rock mix?) and a Leghorn. We've added on to our flock with 3 Brahma chicks (1 may be a rooster), 2 Buff Orpingtons, and 1 Rhode Island Red. My children and I love our flock and are trying our best to be excellent caretakers. :)
