Hello,

I currently don't have any chickens and I'm doing research before getting chickens currently. I'm new to chickens, have never previously owned any and looking for breeds that do well with young children and are prolific egg layers. My youngest is currently 1.
Some of my hobbies include crocheting and sewing.
I'm excited to learn more about chickens and what breeds would be good for my family.
