We raise silkies (feathered feet) and they get stuff stuck on them all the time so they're often picking at their feet. Plus, like @DobieLover mentioned, their new feathers itch.

Yeah thank you I'm not sure what kind of chick she is but I'll post a Picture of her I saved her my husband got 4 and the next day three of them passed away n she was the only survival chick...but thank u for the invite

Well she did have 3 others but the other 3 dided she was the only who survived but she really close with me she follows me around sits on my shoulder n were close she loves to be outside with me like a free roam chicken but she'll mostly be by my side
