(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? : Yes I am very very new to chickens, I got my very first 4 pullets on April 3rd.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have 4
(3) What breeds do you have? Easter Egger, Barred Rock, Cinnamon Queen, & A Black Sex Link
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Since I'm so new my current favorite aspect is simply watching their personalities develop.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Art, Photography, Collecting, Reading, Writing, Baking/Cooking, and Making videos. I was going to add gardening but I'm only very very slimly starting to get into that.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My name is Brooklyn but Ya'll can call me Brooke! I'm 22 and currently live with my father in Oklahoma literally moved here back in February. My dog George is a Heinz 57 variety aka a mutt but we love him anyways. I'm actually planning on getting a Yorkie if not by the end of the year then the beginning of next year. I collect a variety of things that are kind of childish haha! Littlest Pet Shops, Douglas, Webkinz, Figures, Funko Pops, and etc. I'm also obsessed with 2000s fashion and take a lot inspiration from that era and apply it to my wardrobe. I think I've rambled enough lol.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found the community through google, I lurked for a little while then decided to join. I was previously in facebook groups and those were a toxic mess!!
