Hey all! Been reading the forum for a couple of years now, finally decided to join. I first found this forum while Googling information about chickens. Been finding lots of great tips and pointers to keep my two hens happy and healthy. My girls are a bit of an odd couple. First is Ariel. She's an 8 and a half year old Black Australorp. She is the queen bee and spoiled lap hen. She LOVES cuddles and pets and will sit with me all day if I let her. And then there is Mischief. She's 2 and a half and is a farm mix. All I know of her parentage is her father was a Sumatra. She's a lot less affectionate than Ariel, but will still tolerate cuddles if I give her treats. I've had chickens since 2011, mostly bantams.
