Hello hello! Welcome to the forum! I didn't know Emus handled the cold so well! Up here we have an Ostrich farm near the race track that must have a few heated barns for the birds. We get pretty freaking cold in January and February!

Hey everyone! My name is Kamilla, I'm from Oregon USAI found this web-site by searching some information about my birds and decided to register so I can get a closer insight

Answering sample questions will be a bit different... Because I have emus!

Last year me and my husband have moved to the apartment that is on emu farm. I was helping landlords with maintaining the farm (they're an older couple), and I fell in love with them. What are fascinating creatures emus are.

We also got chicken, geese and one duck. Unfortunately a skunk ate the rest of ducks, as I was told. Chicken breed - Ameraucanas. Geese breed - I don't know. They're white . I had chicken when I was growing up on a farm, and we moved to the city when I was 11 or so. I always loved the farm, and birds.

Looking forward to reading the posts here and meeting people who have a great emu insight!
