This is just a few pictures of my girls and some of our birds I got into chickens when I found out our youngest was on the way so me and the oldest could have a project together so she didn't feel left out with the new baby now there both into the chickens and it seems like we always end up with more lol
 
@Ben1187 that is a really good idea building a mutual relationship between the youth and jealousy. Sorry that is my inner teacher coming out. That is a very good idea and I think you should share it with others. I think if you made a little article on the Family Life forum that would be great. that is my 5 years old favorite little rooster he is a serama

But try to keep a straight face when your having a discussion with your 5 year old of why it's name can't be little pecker lol
 
So I am from warrenton mo but I look around on BYC and I'm not seeing too many people around my area it would be nice to know know some people close just in case you never know scenario

Did you look in Where Am I/Where are You forum? (https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you) I would try there first. Otherwise, you might try to get to know the people at your local feed stores. The best I can do is come close in an avid cheerleader for the St Louis Cards!!! and I know that's not the type of bird you'd be looking for help with!!
