james welcome and how awesome is your coop! you wife is right about your chicken condo lucky birds are living in luxury! my only advice would be to add alittle more ventilation maybe you could do a section towards the top more take out maybe 4-6 inches in height and across a side of the coop amd cover it in hardwire should give you plenty ventilation and help with the heat alittle more.
