Hello! New backyard chicken owner

Hello, I am new to chickens. I live in the DFW area in the suburbs. We just finished our coop and added five chickens. We have two cream legbars, two naked necks turkens, and one buff silkie. All are pullets 8-10 weeks old, except for the silikie who is nine months old. I am looking forward to learning for everyone on this site!

If you breed a turken to a silkie you will get some "showgirls," - naked neck silkies. Check out the showgirls thread and see for yourself.
