Hello! New chick/duckling mom here.

Thank you!
I have a brooder (a very large tote) with 2 feeders, waterers, a small roost, some small toys, and plenty of room.
No coop yet, the lady at TSC said they are going on sale before the babes are old to be outside and that I should wait.
I tried to upload a picture of the brooder but it kept saying error?

I would strongly advise against purchasing a pre-fab coop from TSC. They are always far too small to house the number of chickens stated in the literature and the "runs" that are included with these coops are practically non-existent. If you are not handy, I would suggest you convert an old shed into a coop. Good luck.

Thank you everyone!
We have entertained the idea of my fiance building our own coop, and he is Handy, but he's nervous that he may mess something up and our babes will not have the best house that they can have. I myself have absolutely no type of skills when it comes to building anything
I guarantee that even if he messes something up whatever he builds will be better than pre-fab! Just make sure everything is secure. Start looking through the coop pages and find something that fits your climate, number of birds and budget.
