Sorry I haven't been online for awhile! I'm in Dunning too how cool! How are your chickens I the cold?

Half of our chickens survived last year's polar vortex so they are not so shy of snow.
The other half saw snow for the first time and although they are 29 weeks old they have still to start laying.
My only complain is the water freezing and I can't use a water heater as the coop is too far to extend cables.
We are at harlem/Irving park.
We should meet and talk chickens

I do have the water heater so that helps but it's cold out there and I still put some extra water in the top for them and warm oatmeal and scrambled eggs (ones that froze).
I'm at Page/Belmont...Yes we should get together for coffee sometime!
 
Also I pretty sure my Easter Egger is mottling..not good isn't it to cold!
