(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My first 4 in March and now have 3 more babies. I had to rehome one of them - turned out to be a rooster...broke my heart
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6
(3) What breeds do you have? 3 Olive Eggers, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Cinnamon Queen, 1 Leghorn
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching them and playing them music
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I'm a house dj and I garden
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 4 cats - Palpatine, Solo, Leia, and Kylo. I have 1 dog named Friday. I live in N FL and work in aviation.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've been referring to this place a lot in preparation of getting my backyard flock going.
