Hello new friends...

Looks like your questions have been answered. You'll probably find it easier if you put the feeder and waterer up on a brick or scrap piece of wood. They still won't stay clean, but it will take longer for the chicks to fill them up with shavings. Cute little fuzzy butts you have there.

I'm so happy to have found such an active forum on this topic!!

I guess my babies don't like my cooking - I tried some scrambled eggs on them and they have pretty much ignored it!

Hey, at least they aren't scared of your cooking! Mine run screeching when I try to give them boiled egg.

What they really love is yolk from hard boiled egg.mash it put tiny amount of warm water stir to make thick paste put just a little chick starter on it They love the stuff. It took only 2 yolks for my six. Once a day and they learn what time and wait for mom to show
