Hello! New from North Carolina! :)

Hi everyone! I'm a new member from the Fayetteville, North Carolina area We are an Army family. I have been wanting chickens for EVER.... and have finally built a very small coop from reclaimed pallets and run for just a couple chickens - yippee!! Should be picking them (chicks) up this week. I'm new to chickens, but am really excited to have a couple for our family to have fresh eggs and backyard pets It's nice to meet everyone!

Thank you, redsoxs! I had a couple chicks when I was in high school, but had to give them back to my mom's friend when they got their feathers I have been wanting to own my own chickens since then... and that was about 15 years ago! lol I loved those chickens...
