Lets see...Mississippi, New York, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, NC...Probably missing a few other states. I buy eggs and hatch them.
My 1st chicks were bought locally back in 2003.
Tractor Supply is having their annual "Chick Days" now so that might be a good place to start.

Thanks to everyone...for all the help and kind hello's I found some americanaus/eastereggers close to a job i am looking at today so I will be adding them to my flock . Cant wait to get the coop finished and eggs a going ! I figure my daughter will probably be just starting to walk as we just start to get eggs

tractor supply had some chicks thanks for advice... of course i found a breeder yesterday close by after the fact but its ok all chicks seem healthy eating and drinking !
