I have been having a Blast on this forum.
I am like you our Kids are raised and we now have grandkids..

We got our chickens just this year. We have had ducks since last year. And we like having them around.
Folks here are very helpful. so if ya ever have a question or a problem, Post it, you will get help. There is also a swap chat line check it out someone might have something youv'e been looking for. Again

Mawmaw is what I will be called as soon as our 7 1/2 month old grand-daughter learns to talk. My DH is known as Pawpaw...so I thought why not...& t is the first letter of my name, only using it on here tho.

We been in SC for 10 years now, as of last month. We're orignally from PA, the southern end, about 30 mins. from the MD state line.

spook - Many of us here are afflicted with arthritis and other health issues, that is one of the neat things about this site, you will not be looked down upon for any weakness, you will be encouraged to keep moving the best you can.

Thanks! That's what I love about the chickens & rabbits. Doesn't take alot to tend them, but it makes you move about & get out of the house for as long as you can & someone to talk to when no-one else is around.

They are very forgiving little critters.

In all weakness there is an abundance of strength.

I am so glad that your critters are a healing process for you.

We are building a greenhouse for a home business and I don't think there is any thing better as therpy (sp) 'maybe not enough coffee yet'

I don't think there is any thing better then playing in the dirt or watching chickens & ducks.
