Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I currently have 6 adult hens (mixed variety including Easter Eggers, Orpingtons, a Blue Maran, and a Silver Laced Wyandotte. I recently got 6 silkies and they are 6 months old! One white, one light blue, one blue, one black, and 2 buff. Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

That's Ginger. She's a buff brahma, and she's really big. And I don't mean just kinda, oh you know, above average, she's MASSIVE! But the funny part is that she thinks she's small! Ginger will sometimes go in the same nesting box with another hen, not knowing that she's taking up almost the entire space and squashing the hen next to her. She just looks around and looks at the other hen, like "what? I'm not that big! I can't be squashing you!" It's the funniest thing
