I am so glad I found this site! We have been thinking about chicken raising for awhile, however, my daughter was given a Rhode Island Red about 3weeks ago. Machete has been living in her room! So needless to say we are starting sooner than planned and will start converting our old dog pen (wild rabbit sanctuary) into a chicken coop so we can expand our flock. Anyway, thanks for letting me join, I have already seen some helpful information and I am looking forward fresh eggs and a new lifestyle of chicken raising!
