Hello everyone we are new to keeping chicken so we seek lots of info. Our coop and run are just about completed we have had out chicks sense Friday. When are we able to put the chicks out in their coop it has already been getting hot here so I am afraid to wait to long and not have them be able to adjust to the heat before it really hits. Any help and knowledge would be great.

Actually, it will be under new management soon though.

btw.. i heard they are planning to make backyard chickens legal in the whole state of Arizona ?

Gilbert allowed chickens 2 years ago. Chandler still say no though.

HOA is still the main barrier.

It's interesting when it comes to laws/regulations

federal, state,city, community

beside some of the other laws.. HOA law is pretty much the supreme law of the community

I checked teh CC&R and didn't see anything about chickens so i went ahead with it since the city allows it.
