Hello -- New Member from Minnesota

Hello--

I've been reading posts on BYC for weeks and finally registered today.

My husband and I are new to raising chickens and ducks. We have 22 chickens and 2 ducks (plus 5 duck eggs in an incubator that are scheduled to hatch tomorrow). We also have 4 Dachshunds and a Basset Hound.

I'm looking forward to getting involved with this forum. I'd especially love to hear from others around the Twin Cities.

I am wait for our pollen season to be over so I can enjoy the great out doors again, I suppose you are waiting for a thaw? If our weather is any indication, it should be there soon.
My grandfather was from the twin cities. Can you recite Hiawatha from memory too? He made me believe that any good minnesota-ian could.

I think he was just showing off.
