Hello! New Member here! need help with one of our lovely coturnix hens who has significant loss of the use of her legs in the past few months :(

How old she?
What are you feeding her?
How much space does she have?
How many hiding places does she have?
How tall is her pen?
Is she eating and drinking normally?
Does her poop look normal?
Can you post a close up picture of her foot, leg, and joints?
Hi!
We got Baldy at about 7 months old, i would say she is roughly a year old now. We have 3 hens and 1 male in a 2 story hutch, i would say the length is almost 5 feet and the width is about 3, the height is around 3 feet with a ramp that goes into a little hiding area that covers less than half of their hutch. She is eating and drinking normally, no appetite changes at all. Her poop looks normal we have been monitoring that as well, and yes i will get a photo of her joints and legs and nail. her nails are a dark red color and it looks like she has a spot on one of her joints that may have gotten infected. we aren’t sure how but we did soak her when we saw stuck poop on it and it came off, but it looked red underneath. this was before her issues got to the point they are at. it may have caused some sort of infection is what i’m thinking. but not sure.

added edit: i’ve been cleaning the poop out of their cage every single night so it doesn’t get stuck on her since she can’t walk. she also has feather loss on her belly, when this first started (the feather loss and the lethargy) we initially thought she was molting after doing some research. but doesn’t seem like that was the issue that has caused her legs to not work. when we pick her up she can kick her legs around and move them , which is something i forgot to add in my original post. vet says it doesn’t look like bumblefoot which we figured it wasn’t

Did the vet have any ideas as to what was the cause or ailment to this poor bird?

The joint does look a bit swollen. Her nails could use a trim but look normal to me. It's hard to say if it's injury or something else without more information, though. Did the vet say anything else?
