hi...I am thinking about raising chickens in my backyard but I want to educate myself about them first. I live at the beaches in an unincorporated area of Jacksonville ( Atlantic Beach addy, Jacksonville services). What are the rules and what do I need to learn before I get started? Housing, nutrition, care, all of the good stuff. I used to keep chicks when I lived in KY as a child but I am clueless now so any help would be appreciated!
