Hello!
We have had chickens for 4-5 years now. We started off in Hawaii with a small flock of about 12 chickens, Buff Orpingtons. We sold them with our house lol. Eggs are expensive in Hawaii, the new owners wanted them! We moved to kentucky about two years ago. We currently have a laying flock that is a blend of purebred hens. We have Cream legbars, Salmon Favorelles, a turken, a buff orpington, rhode island reds, a sumatra and some ameraucanas. We also have Coturnix Quail and Pekin Ducks, as well as French and English Angora Rabbits.
We have some new Delaware chicks that we are raising now to start a meat chicken flock as well as some more Turkens and Ameraucana chicks on the way.
