hi all, my name is kirsten and I'm new here. I am currently chicken mommy to 5 black stars and 6 gold sex links but hoping to do some hatching with my Broody McBroodersen and expand my flock!

Thank you! I love them and really want to expand my flock but hubby isn't quite on board yet. He's ok with hatching so that's what I'm trying. Today is day 22 of my first go around with no luck so if she is still broody I'm going to attempt again!

Being broody for a LONG time is not healthy for the bird.
You may want to wait a while to try again.
 
Get a wired dog cage, or something similar.
Place her in the cage with NO bedding material, raise the cage about 6 inches off the ground so air can flow under it. Keep her locked up for a few days with access to water and feed.
You can even place a frozen water bottle under the cage to help keep it cooler down there.
