They should indeed be laying creamy beige eggs. Do they have any runny noses or rattling when breathing? Because respiratory diseases will cause them to lay eggs with little to no pigment.

I think you have a buff orpington and a California gray (a barred rock crossed with a leghorn )

It crossed my mind that they both might be half leghorn...due to the white eggs

Those eggs are pretty white....... It seems that the barred bird is not a Barred Rock.
Maybe it is a mix of some kind. I see others have suggested it being a California Grey, which is what I think it is also.
I'm not exactly sure what the Buff hen is. But I think you are right about it not being a Buff Orpington.
