Hello all!
I'm new to posting here at BYC. I've been reading the forums since we started getting ready for our ducklings last year. We enjoyed our ducks so much we added chicks just this past week.
We have a nine ducks. Seven of them we got last summer and they are all laying now. 2 Khaki Campbells, 2 Buff Orpingtons, and 3 Welsh Harlequins. We added a male WH 6 weeks ago in hopes of hatching some ducks of our own in the future. He is being raised with a beautiful Blue Swedish female for company.
Just last week we got our first chicks. The original order were all different breeds or colorings from each other. From silkies, polish, a lavender orpington, cuckoo bluebar, and a couple mystery chicks for fun. Thanks for all the helpful information from your posts as we learn all we can about having happy healthy chickens and ducks!
