Hello from southwest La. I am raising 12 chickens, 5 Rhode Island reds and 7 little gold chickens ( I thought the store was giving me all reds) but the chicks were mixed and so I have a mixed flock. I have had them since they were 7 or so days old. We are now 10 weeks old and growing fast. I am recently retired and getting to live out my dream of raising a garden and chickens!
