Hello new to this platform

Hello,
My name is April. I am new to this platform and I found this location through a google search. I am located in Macedon, NY. My husband and I have discussed housing a couple hens for the fresh eggs and to keep as pets. I was searching to find out if I am able to house chickens in my area. I do not currently have chicken. I would like to have 2-3 birds. I have done a lot of research and I am hopeful that we are able to get the answers we need to be able to move ahead with our plans.

Get three at a minimum. If something were to happen to one of a pair, the other would be left all alone and that is not good for a flock creature.
