Hello! New user looking for info on quail, and other birds

HI!
My wife and I bought a 3 acre piece of land that we plan to someday build a homestead on.
We are currently living in the suburbs of Montreal, Quebec and are planning to keep some quail outside, to get some experience with birds before we move to our new land in a few years. Looking forward to some great advice!
